Stephanie Rahmatulla

My name is Stephanie Rahmatulla. I am a mother of two, designer and co-founder of me & my BIG ideas.

In the fall of 1998, while I was sitting at my son's baseball game, the BIG idea was born! Scrapbooking was relatively new and the product offering was limited. I sat at that game with my mother tossing around "what if" product ideas. It was exciting and scary...a great combination!

I worked with my longtime friend & artist, Kay McConnaughey, to create our first 12 sticker designs. They were an immediate hit and I was on the ride of my life.

Within months, the rapid success of this new company, me & my BIG ideas, and having two young children, I knew I needed help. So I looked to a proven craft industry professional and visionary...my mother! She had over 20 years of experience developing product for the craft industry and I was a scrapbooker with my mother's knack for business and design. It was a match made in heaven...literally!

Together with a wonderful staff, we have taken mambi, as it is often called, to new heights! We often look back at that day at the baseball field and we have to pinch ourselves. God is so good. We have been truly blessed!

That's the professional me. The personal me...my favorite hat to wear, is a busy, working mother. I live in Southern California with my two awesome kids. My son, Tyler is 18 and spends most of his time pursuing his passion...baseball. He signed with UCLA to attend school and play baseball in the fall of 2008! My beautiful daughter, Kayla is 14. She is the total package! Gorgeous, full of life, athletic and very creative. She's exploring her many talents to find her heart's passion.
